Alexander Leszunov, Jr.

Alexander Leszunov, Jr., 76 passed away Monday August 28, 2023 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Born June 12, 1947, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Alexander Leszunov, Sr. and Julia Goidich Leszunov.  In addition to his parents, his infant sister, Mary, also preceded him in death.  Alexander served in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and was retired from Metals USA.  He is survived by his brother, David Leszunov and wife, Nancy, of Pittsburgh, and two nephews, Andrew  Leszunov and wife, Kristin, and Joseph Leszunov.  Services were held in Highpoint, NC at the Cumby Family Funeral Service.  The Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., will preside over the visitation, service and interment in Pittsburgh.

Friends and Family will be received on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am  at St. Cyril and Methodius Church, 520 Scott Avenue, Jeanette, PA   15644 with the Funeral Service to be held at 11:00 am following visitation,   Archpriest Michael Senyo presiding.  Interment will follow in St. Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Cemetery, Jacks Run Road, Pittsburgh, PA   15229.
