Ann loved to dance and sing. In her youth you would find her at Dance Land in Westview Park, Royal Ballroom and the Palisades. She referred to herself as the "Dancing Fool". She loved music, especially Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole. She loved seeing Johnny Mathis and the late Tony Bennet in person. She loved attending the CLO productions regularly, doing crossword puzzles, and reading. She worked for 27 years at Arlington School, first as a clerk, later as a secretary. She loved the children and came to be known to them as "Mrs. D.". Ann got to see a lot of the world due to her daughter Dawn taking her to Paris twice and many other countries for a day or two. In her later years, Dana was her caregiver. Ann enjoyed playing cards and Friday shrimp lunches with Ted. Ann enjoyed her last five years at Fair Oaks and truly felt the community was an extension of her family. She was a caring person and focused on others needs and happiness in all she did. Her family and her Byzantine Faith were very important to her.
Ann's family wishes to thank the staff at Fair Oaks for the loving care given to their mother! They also wish to thank Gallagher Home Care, especially Jen and Brenda for their loving and compassionate care.
