Carie F. Wenger

Carie Frances  Wenger, age 38, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.  She will be remembered for her warm heart, vibrant spirit, and the love she shared with those closest to her, especially Ella and Hailey.

She is also survived by her mother, Janet (Kitchen) Wenger;  her sister, Sherry (John) Ehrin; her brother James (Jessica) Wenger, Jr.; nephews, Jake and Declan Ehrin, James Wenger III; and niece, Skylar Wenger.  She was preceded in death by her father, James Gary Wenger as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.

Carie was so much more than her struggles.  She was a beautiful soul who had an enormous heart, and a laugh that will echo in our memories eternally.  She was a light to all who loved her, and her family takes comfort knowing she is now at peace.

Relatives and friends will be received at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA  15212 on Thursday, December 19, 2024  from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm.           

Though she may no longer walk among us, Carie's spirit will forever illuminate our paths, inspiring us to live with love and kindness in our hearts, faith and forgiveness in our souls, and the courage to persevere through life's darkest moments.
