David Michael Spontak

David Michael Spontak, age 78, of West View, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.  Beloved Husband of Sandra M. (Forte) Spontak;  Son of the late Andrew and Helen Spontak; Brother of the Very Reverend James Spontak, Ellen (Robert) Colwell, Carol (Tom) Tomko and the late A. Thomas (surviving, Kate) Spontak; He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.

NO VISITATION;  a Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 11:00 am in Regina Coeli Parish, Assumption Church with interment to follow after the mass in Christ Our Redeemer, North Side Catholic Cemetery.

 David was employed by the Allegheny County Controllers Office for over 30 years before his retirement in 2012.  David loved the beach.  He was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan.  He also loved planting and enjoying his flowers in the summer and his outdoor Christmas display.  He had a deep faith and loved both his Byzantine and Roman Catholic Heritage.
