Edgar Roy Johnson

Edgar Roy Johnson, at age 79, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024; Beloved Husband of Janet (Koretzka) Johnson; Loving Father of Jennifer (Bob) Reubi and Jeff Johnson; Grandfather of Rachel, Nicole and Natalie Reubi and Evan Johnson; He was the son of the late Edgar W. and Eleanor Johnson; Brother of Bonnie (late Jerry) Reid and Emma (John) Dusak.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association. Ed was a proud Army veteran.  He worked at Krogers and the U. S. Postal Service.  He was a  member of the Coraopolis District Sportsmen's Association.  Ed was an avid sports fan and coach of many.  Affectionately known as "Mr. Ed", "Pal", and "The Mayor" of his street.

Family and Friends will be received on Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm & 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Avenue at Davis Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA   15212-1880 where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:30 am.

Interment will follow at 1:30 pm at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgevlle, PA.
