Edward R. McCreary

Edward R. McCreary, Age 80, of Northside, PA passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 17, 2024 surrounded by his family. A true Irish gentlemen, strong, courageous, funny, kind willing to help anyone in need. He always kept his word and never broke a promise. He held his family and friends in the utmost regard. He was loyal to the end to all he loved and cherished. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie Heisel McCreary, and his brother, Timothy McCreary and sister, Marlane Trautman. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol; daughters, Kelly (Rob) of Gibsonia; Collen of Northside; Cindy (Pat) of Shaler; Marie (Russ) of Ross; son, Scott of Northside and fourteen grandchildren, Zachary, (Crystal), Matthew, Amanda, Samantha, Benjamin, (Chelsi), Tyler (Meg), Nathanial (Lauren), Taylor, Elijah, Griffin, (Hailey), Ethan (Emma), Grant, Parker and Josh. Great Grandfather of Aspen, Alisha, Karina, Logan, and Giovanni. Also, survived by a sister, Patricia Thompson of Westerville, OH; Best Friend Ben Woods, many loving nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation Friday 2- 8 pm at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc. A blessing service will be held Saturday at 10 am.
