Esther M. Chulack

Esther M. Chulack, age 98, passed away in Sumter, SC on Saturday, September 16, 2023.  She was born in the village of Widnoon, Pennsylvania on March 9, 1925.  She lived most of her adult life in Pittsburgh, PA and her most recent years in Sumter, SC.

Esther loved spending time with her family and over the years enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading and jigsaw puzzles.  She worked for 20 years as a light duty cleaner with Gulf Oil Corporation.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Chulack, her parents George and Anna (Forringer) Cobbett, and all of her  siblings:  brothers Ed, Raymond, Harve, Paul and Richie Cobbett and sisters Josephine Crissman and Marion Keeler.

Survivors include two daughters:  Sharon (Bud) Burik of Sumter, SC and Nancy Panza of Glenshaw, PA; two grandchildren:  Nicole Panza (Kevin LoPresto) of Florence, SC and Jeffrey Panza (Melinda Angeles) of Pittsburgh, PA, and one great-granddaughter, Marin Panza.

Family and friends  will be received on Thursday, September 21st. from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Avenue at Davis Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA   15212-2104 where a Funeral Service will be on Friday at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow the service in Union Dale Cemetery Div. #3.
