Evelyn (Karaica) Selinsky

Evelyn Selinsky, passed peacefully on Sunday, March 14, 2021 surrounded by family.  Evelyn was the widow of Peter (1989); Mother to Karen( Bud) Messmer, Edward Charles (Donalyn) Selinsky, Nancy (Joe) Costa,  Mildred (Mike) Brown, and Donna (Dan) Barthel; Grandmother to seven, Great-Grandmother to eight; and survived by loving sister Mildred McGeary; Evelyn was a gentle spirit with an ever loving heart.  She enjoyed family gatherings and joyful occasions, garnering many of the events with her unforgettable pierogi recipes.  Evelyn's loving ways will be greatly missed and forever remembered.  Friends received  (following CDC guidelines of masks and social distancing) Tuesday from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm  at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Ave. at Davis Ave., Pittsburgh, PA   15212 ;  A PRIVATE FAMILY BLESSING SERVICE  will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 am.  EVERYONE WELCOME TO MEET  FOR A GRAVESIDE SERVICE AT Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery on Wednesday  at 11:15 am.
