Lance Catterall, age 31, of Boise, ID, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017, originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Lance is survived by his loving parents Lance and Diane; brother Brett, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lance was a retired Captain in the U.S. Air Force who was stationed in Mountain Home, ID, Alamogordo, New Mexico and served overseas in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. After graduating from Avonworth High School, Lance entered the Air Force ROTC program at Penn State University with a full scholarship. He graduated with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Lance was an outdoor enthusiast and an avid cyclist. After retiring from military service he returned to Idaho to engage in those activities. Lance was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends may pay their respects during visitation at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Ave. at Davis Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212, on Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 9:30 am until the time of the Blessing Service at the funeral home at 11 a. m.
