Lillian Marie (Machik) Chlibun

Lillian Marie (Machik) Chlibun, age 92, of Bellevue, formerly of South Side, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, June 29, 2023.  Beloved Wife of the late Joseph Chlibun; Mother of Daniel J. (Tina) Chlibun; Aunt of Ronald (Sandy) Zera.  Friends and Family will be received on Sunday from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc.,  3552 California Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA   15212-2104  Panachida will be held on Sunday at 6:30 pm at the Funeral Home; Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in  St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church.    Interment to follow in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Cemetery.

Lillian was a homemaker who loved her family.  She worked the polls every Election Day.  She was a volunteer at the Lutheran Service Society of Western Pennsylvania Primetime Senior Center for many years.  She took care of her husband Joe until his death in 2003.  Later on she moved to an apartment on the grounds of St. George's Ukrainian Church and participated in many events there, among them making perogies for sale at the church.  In the last years of her life she moved to Mt. Assisi Place where she was well loved and taken care of.  She loved to play cards and bingo and do crafts and painting.
