Mary Jean "Boots" (Steffl) Solanina, age 99,  passed on Monday May 20, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Peter; Mother of Mary Ellen (Frank) Plowey, Lynda (Mike) Bryner, Constance Jeanne Solanina, and J. Mark ( Christine) Solanina; Grandmother of Jeffery, Melissa, Liza, Jesse, Holly, Mauresa, and Olivia; Great-grandmother of 12, Daughter of the late Eugene and Marion Steffl; Sister of the late Jack (Surviving spouse Bev) and Constance Bittner. Friends received Wednesday 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc. A funeral mass will be held in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, (St. Sebastian Church) on Thursday at 1:30 pm. Interment to follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
