Rolf L. Schapiro , M.D.

At the age of 80 , surrounded by his loving family. Rolf was an accomplished physician , board member and author.He served as Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology for 20 years and also served on the Board of Directors at Allegheny General Hospital. He graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and completed his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He practiced medicine early in his career at the University of Iowa and was a Fellow of the American College of Radiology. He was the loving Husband of Janet (Izzi) and the late Dolores. Beloved Father of Steven , Sandra and the late Douglas. Brother of Juergen and the late Bernhard. Rolf was a world traveler ,lover of music and nature , avid athlete and a wonderfull all-around human being. He will be greatly missed by all those who came to know him during the course of a long and fruitfull life.
