Rosemarie Glevicky

Rosemarie "Rosie" Glevicky, was called to Heaven on Thursday, April 1, 2021.  She passed peacefully in her home in McKees Rocks with loving family by her side, due to an illness which quickly progressed.  Rosemarie was born in Pittsburgh on December 7, 1943.  She was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Papinchak) Glevicky.  She worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Psychiatric Aide for 37 years.  She spent her entire life selflessly giving to those around her.  She especially loved  to care for children and the elderly.  Rosemarie was the perfect playmate, creating  a magical childhood full of fun and laughter for so many children.  She was the most self-sacrificing person, and also enjoyed donating to countless charities.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline; brothers, Paul and Henry (Hank) Glelvicky.  Survived by her sisters, Ann Cooke, Dorothy Persinger, Esther Mihalic, Dolores Baum, Carol Persinger and Barbara Grag.  She was a second mother to  Becky and Kayle Rodenbaugh.   She was a loving and caring aunt to many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was a friend to all who were lucky enough to have known her.  Her vibrant spirit and heart of gold will never be forgotten.  NO VIEWING.

A  FUNERAL MASS WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14, 2021 AT 11:00 IN ARCHANGEL GABRIEL PARISH, ST. JOHN OF GOD CHURCH, 1011 CHURCH AVENUE, MCKEES ROCKS, PA   15136.   (Masks and Social Distancing to be followed)   Interment to follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery, 204 Cemetery Lane, Ross Township, PA   15237.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the cancer fund or help feed the elderly.  Arrangements by Thomas P.
