Salvatore (Sam) Mirasole

Salvatore (Sam) Mirasole, age 97, of Brighton Heights, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alba P. Mirasole; and survived by his brother, Joseph Mirasole of Tennessee; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.  Sam served in the OSS as Special Agent for the U.S. Army during WWII, where he earned four Bronze Stars.  He was retired from the Pittsburgh Brewing Co., where he had been a night supervisor, who was admired for his dedication to his job and crew.  Sam had been a member of the ISDA Amity Lodge for several years, and for 55 years, he was a season ticket holder and avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Sam's kind and gentle manner will always be cherished.
