Walter A. Ruszkowski

Beloved Husband of the late Hilda (Berger) Ruszkowski. Cherished Father of Donna (George) Bodnar , Jeffrey (Judy) and David (Marilyn) Scott. Proud and loving Grandfather of Jessica (Lynne) Scott , Jason (Diane) Scott , Katelyn Scott and Trevyn Scott. Son of the late Walter and Eleanora Ruszkowski. Brother of Irene Payan. Brother-in-Law of Elmer Berger , Frances Ruszkowski and Dr. H.M. Payan. He was preceded in death by five Brothers and two Sisters. Walter was a WW II U.S. Army veteran. He landed on the beach at Normandy and fought through five campaigns in Europe , including the Battle of the Bulge. During the course of his service he was awarded five Bronze Stars. He also worked for 37 years for Pittsburgh Railways/Port Authority. He was also a talented musician and baker.
