Walter S. Rekasie

Age 91, husband of Regina (Jean) Kaminski Rekasie; father of John (Sis) and Robert (Margie) Rekasie; grandfather of Jack, Kirk, Shawn, Gina Hunter ,JoAnn Knauff,Anne Jenkins of Columbus, OH and Adam Rekasie; great grandfather of 11; great great grandfather of 1; brother of Andy,sister ann Spece and the late Paul, John and Stanley Rekasie. A Pearl Harbor Survivor, Mr. Rekasie served in Campaigns at Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Peleliu and Bougainville during his 44 month tour in the South Pacific. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Library for the Blind and the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots.
